CRACTED는 물속에 퍼지는 먹(墨)의 확산에서 영감을 얻었습니다. 먹이 번지는 순간은 소용돌이의 패턴과 닮아 있으며, 고정된 형태 없이 유동적이고 불확실한 성질을 드러냅니다. 실을 하나하나 제거하고 스크래치를 더해 만들어낸 섬세하면서도 불규칙한 질감은 동양적인 분위기를 자아내며, 이는 다양한 모습으로 존재하는 자연의 이치를 나타냅니다. 관람자의 시선은 와이어의 흐름을 따라가며, 물속에서 움직 이는 먹의 흔적을 시각적으로 경험할 수 있습니다. 와이어는 착용할 때마다 변형되어 매번 다른 실루엣을 만들며, 정제되지 않은 물과 먹의 흐름을 담아냅니다.
CRACTED is inspired by the dispersion of meok (墨) in water. The moment of spreading resembles the swirling patterns of eddies, revealing a fluid and uncertain nature without fixed form. By delicately removing threads and applying scratches, a subtle yet irregular texture was created, evoking an atmosphere of East Asian aesthetics. This reflects the underlying order of nature expressed in diverse forms. The viewer’s gaze follows the direction of the wire, visually tracing the movement of meok in water. With each wear, the wire can be reshaped, generating slightly different silhouettes that embody the raw, flow of water and meok.
